Completely Amazing

Last night was completely amazing. The weather was cool (80) and 300,000 people came out to the crusade. Nothing even remotely like this has ever happened here. It is the event that these people will remember for a life time. We have really fallen in love with the Nigerian people. I wish you could behere to meet them. They are warm and the most genuine people I have met. When they are excited they show it. When they don't like something, they don't pretend. It is incredibly refreshing.

Tonight is the final night of the crusade. We are expecting the largest crowd yet. Hundreds of thousands have already come to Christ and we have seen with our own eyes the most amazing miracles. This is the book of Acts being lived out in 2009. No one could remain a skeptic here, it is just too powerful. Karman and I get to sit on the front row of the stage so we see everything close up.

I will be preaching my final message tonight. Your prayers have been so powerful I can honestly say last night I felt more ease speaking to the enormous crowd, than I normally feel speaking in my own Church. What a lesson I am learning again about the power of prayer.

We had lunch today with one the team members that has been with Cfan the longest. He is a Christian "Indian Jones" with stories that Spielberg couldn't dream up. Captured by rebels, imprisoned, stoned, tear gassed, bombed, shot at, stuck in the middle of war zones, kidnapped, and plane crashes. You cannot believe this guy. I will tell his stories when I get home. The way that God has protected this team is awesome.

Tomorrow we depart for Lagos and then Dubai and we don't travel to India until next weekend. Please continue to pray for us. I will take the microphone about noon your time today. I look forward to giving you another good report.
