Prayer Warriors: Dana here...This is an image of our arrival in Oleh/ozoro. We were met by crowds at the airport and there were roads everywhere lined with tens of thousands of people. There was a carnival atmosphere here. People are traveling from all over to attend. Bonnke is so famous here I can't describe it. The thing is, it is not like fame in the US. He is famous because he comes with a message of forgivness and hope and blessing. People know that he will show them the way to God.
This is a very poor place. Few people have electricity. In fact, people have very little. There are however countless motorbikes and scooters here. It is common to see a family of four all on one small motorcycle. Their idea of a child seat is a sling over the mothers back.
Straight from the airport we went to the Governers mansion and met with the state government and then not one but two kings. They asked Bonnke to pray over the land and ask God to bless it. They all know how everything changes when the Gospel comes to a city with great power. What an Awesome God we serve.
In a couple of hours the first meeting will begin. I will be speaking on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. At least that is the plan for now. It is seven hours ahead here. The Gospel will normally be being proclaimed at about 11:00 am central time.

Todd, and I (and the kids) are keeping you in our prayers all day, each day. I'll tell you though, as I pray through the list of things to focus on I have such a sense of peace and warmth and I can hear God in my heart saying "it will be". I know HE is watching over you and Karman, I know HE will be there tonight as you speak HIS words to all those who will listen, and I know HE is using you both to grow his kingdom. Someday, you both will see the fields of heaven lined with people who are there because of you both chose to listen to his call to action. God bless you both and I have the clock set for tonight so that we can have some focused, soaking prayer for you at 11 pm tonight. I can't wait to hear the update!
